Robin is the one-in-a-million professional agronomist who can fill both the “scientist” and “sales strategist” roles while simultaneously delivering strategic market insights that shape the future of the business. 


Robin has 20+ years of success developing market-leading product offerings in the agribusiness industry. She leverages her background as a top strategic scientist to consult on effective sales enablement and targeted marketing strategies, especially for new product launches. Robin is a compelling public speaker and technical writer who translates complex scientific ideas into engaging presentations, marketing education materials, and sales training tools that connect with all audiences. 


Prior to AgNexus Robin Ross oversaw all U.S.-based R&D programs on row crops, vegetables, turf, and horticulture with Acadian Plant Health.  In this role she played an integral role in establishing the company’s credibility as a world leader in the biostimulant field and was a key scientist on the commercial launch of two new products with global impact.  Her talents in marketing innovation led major change in the company’s science culture and improve field studies as well as using science to equip a more-informed and persuasive sales force. 


Robin has a  Master of Science (MS) in Plant Pathology with Minor in Experimental Statistics, Clemson University, Clemson, SC Master’s Thesis: “Biological Control of Wirestem on Cabbage” (Controlling Rhizoctonia with Elicitors, Beneficial Fungi, & Bacteria) with a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Biology, Mars Hill College, Mars Hill, NC.  Through her career she has had multiple continuing education classes in Leadership, Relationship Selling, Communication Selling, and Myers-Briggs Communication.
